JOB SUMMARY:
Integrative Family Medicine of Asheville (IFMA) is seeking a part-time or full-time family physician (MD or DO) to join a team of 3 MDs, 3 PA-Cs, and 2 FNPs.
We are an independent, direct primary care practice with a mission of providing affordable integrative primary care. Our clinic focus is lifestyle medicine. We are a diverse team of medical providers who share an enthusiasm for fostering deep connection with patients, going the extra mile, and creating a work/life balance. We seek a dedicated team player who, with the support of a health coach and nutritionist, enjoys a collaborative work environment.
We opened in 2011 and are now a thriving practice with an excellent reputation. We are well known in the community and enjoy a healthy relationship between both conventional and integrative providers. Our clinic has won numerous awards for our innovative approach to primary care. We also support continuing education and community involvement for our providers.

- Average of 11-12 patients / day
- No hospital rounds (outpatient only)

Requirements:
- Board Eligible/Board Certified in Family Medicine
- Excels in skills of empathy, compassion, and active listening
- Experience with nutrition support
- Experience or interest in Lifestyle Medicine
- Works well in a team-based atmosphere
- Committed to ongoing program development, practice growth, and expansion
Preferred:
- Trained in an integrative specialty (lifestyle medicine, nutrition, exercise prescriptions or other mind/body treatments)
